Task Details

Using the following topics, choose one issue in sport (relevant examples are in brackets):

- Politics in Sport (e.g. Novak Djokovic, Peng Shuai)

- Drugs in Sport (e.g. Blake Ferguson, Marion Jones)

- Gender & Equity (e.g. Equal pay & prize money)

- Racism in Sport (e.g. Adam Goodes, WAFL players)

Research the issue that you have chosen. Answer the following questions for your selected issue:

1. Identify the significant events that have raised the profile of the issue

2. Describe the impact of this issue on the sport or physical activity involved. This may be professional and/or amateur levels. 

3. Examine the ethical and legal implications associated with the selected issue.

4. Propose additional strategies to redress the issue and predict future directions if the strategies were implemented.
